I do my shopping online, I put up a tree if it's convenient and if I'm in the mood and I cook smaller meals. After all, it's not the commercial aspect that gives us pleasure but being close with family and friends. Fortunately for us, we can also do that year 'round! Which reminds me, we are waaaaay past due for a tweet-up! I would rather stay home then drag them all over hell's half acre. Besides, I can't take the whining: it is cold, when will it start, I am hungry, etc. And the kids get cranky, too. :) This carnival we will be parked in front of the TV watch the parades roll by, eat some king cake (thanks for the reminder about Haydel's) and listening to the cha-ching.
