I was also a bit taken aback to see holiday lights and trees beside the 75% off Halloween candy.
Sounds like you have some tasty treats up your sleeve for the season Homemade gifts are really the best. I hope to do the same for local friends and family.

I am still in slight denial that the holiday season is right there…that Thanksgiving is a week and a few days away. I was for once looking forward to the holidays then I saw it appearing (in some places) before Halloween and I backed off quickly. I am going to try to get in the spirit again real soon.

I wanted to decorate this past weekend but my husband protested. But I LOVE LOVE this season. I love to decorate. I love that we have the chill in the air and that spring in the step knowing the magic of Christmas is almost here. To me it is not about the presents, but like you said, the decorations, the music, the traditions.. I cannot wait.. just like you..

Wait, let me get this straight. You’ve already finished buying the presents you’re going to purchase? What! It is freakin November, lady. The rules clearly state that you must run around like an idiot in December, get into one or more fist fight(s) over the last of the latest toy, and have at least one nervous breakdown over the person you forgot to include on your list. You’re cheating.

And I am so damn jealous. I have bought one actual present and 1 set of stocking stuffers (have to do most of those in 3′s). And, now that I think about it, I’m not real sure where that one present is….. crap.
