SO glad it seems innocuous. More tests, not so thrilling. Well, once they planted the "...but" in your mind, they HAVE to rule it out, right?

I'm glad the EEG went well. I do hope that, overall, things will turn out well with the MRI, too. It's always a bit frightening for everybody having to bring the young 'un in to the hospital, but I do have to say that Children's Hospital ain't bad as far as their ER docs go, and I've heard nothing but good things about the place in general.

Y'all take care.

It's nice of them to be so careful, it's just less nice when careful means sedating your baby.
Children's is great (my fiance did a rotation there and has nothing but great things to say about it) and I know we can quote figures until we're blue in the face and it'll still be scary, so I'll just say good luck.

And believe me, as someone who has been in a lot of MRI tubes, many of which did not smell great, Sun will neither be the first nor the last person to poop in the tube. :)

Oh, those buts... Yes, we are ever so thankful when doctors are conscientious, but we would really like it all to go away. I do hope that the MRI shows that your dear Sun can just go on unendangered.

It is odd, but my daughter had/has the same sort of birthmark on her upper thigh. Not as large as Sun's. And she was prone, for a few years, when we were travelling to having these muscle spasms and sometimes body spasms. I never thought to connect the two conditions.

Fortunately, her birthmark has faded to the point you don't really see it. My grandfather and aunt had such birthmarks that completely covered their hands.

So good news/concerning news. Keep us posted. You might want to contact Mitch McDad. I believe one of his daughters had a hemangioma. He might have some insight.
