So, a nerd is good in school, or at a nerdy job, but is not at ease socializing unless its with other nerds, but a geek would rather build a rocket in his garage (or write a law review article about a subtle point of arcane law) than attend the Justice for All Ball, even if he would have had a good time at the party. I am usually a nerd, but sometimes I blossom into full geekdom!
