Sun’s Warm Laugh

Sun is just starting to smile for reasons other than a poop. It is really awesome. When she smiles, you can see she has dimples! Last night, as I was holding her, she looked over my shoulder and broke into a huge grin. I looked to see what she was looking at but saw only a dark wall. But she saw more, because a moment later that huge smile of hers erupted with a sound: Sun’s first laugh. It was magical and amazing. And I was its witness.

Isn’t it the best sound ever! My son laughed for the first time when he too was a few months old but it was when he was asleep. He just up and laughed. Never opened his eyes at all. I loved the fact that the hubby was asleep and I was the only one who got to hear it for the first time. Not that I mind sharing his laughs but the first one was special:)

When they start smiling… that’s the best time. They just get cuter and cuter and CUTER and you don’t even mind all the extra work!
That’s great! The first time Sloan laughed, about 3 months old, she laughed and laughed and laughed. I had enough time to get the camera and take a video. It was soooo awesome! HAHAHAA
That is by far one of the best firsts. They only get better.

My Son is 1 yr and in that discovery stage. Everything is so cool to him. He digs through all my kitchen cabinets. He loves running water in the tub. He inspects everything and it is so fun to watch. I am fascinated by him being fascinated by everything. It is like you are learning about life all over again - except this time with them! Today my little guy said Cracker (Ca-Kuh) for the first time! It was sweet! You have so many first to experience yet. They are all great! Enjoy them all!
