I hear you on the pumping. I felt like my whole life was pumping and feeding, pumping and feeding. We had the same trouble with Myles when he was born… no suck/swallow reflex at first, fed through a syringe, trouble latching. Have you tried a nipple guard? It will elongate your nipple, more like a bottle to allow her to latch until she gets stronger and gets the hang of it. It’s the only thing that worked for us.

I 2nd that Moosh! Bring it on! I too have had to deal w/engorged boobs, boobs that leak at the most inoportune (how the hell do you spell that word anyways!) moments, and chafed boobs! I have also had to deal with a nipple that cracked and still breastfed on it! Oh how fun that was to deal w/every two hours (when my son was only a few wks old). Anyone else have to deal w/that? What made it worse was the cable was out for almost 2wks during that time!!! Try to focus on something else at odd hours of the morning when it feels as if your nipple is being ripped off a little at a time when there’s no TV and the hubby is fast asleep:)
